Diaconate

Deacons are responsible for the Church's ministry of caring. They also manage the financial and property concerns of the congregation. Twenty-four Deacons in active terms of service compose the Board, the pastor being ex officio. The Diaconate usually meets at 8:45 a.m., the second Sunday of each month in the Session Room.

It is the duty of Deacons, first of all, to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress.
